She knows when to ease up on belaboring a technical exercise, and instead shift the focus on the singer’s presence and personality. She knows the difference between when the technique itself IS the thing that will bring on the confidence (so she’ll focus on technique primarily), versus when confidence is the thing that the singer needs in order unlock the technique (so she’ll focus on building a character, telling a story, and making deliberate modifications for the singer to access the material in the smoothest way possible for peak confidence and story-telling).
